SI YANKS AND WSIA ANNOUNCE 2001 BROADCAST SCHEDULE
THE COLLEGE RADIO STATION TO AIR ENTIRE SEASON SCHEDULE
The Staten Island Yankees, the Single- A Affiliate of the 26-Time world Champion New York Yankees and 2000 New York-Penn League Champions have announced that WSIA 88.9 FM radio will broadcast all 76 regular-season games this year. WSIA is the radio station of the college of Staten Island, and has broadcast the Baby Bombers since 1999.
˘We are pleased to be returning to WSIA. Mike and Tom have gotten to know our organization, and we are confidant WSIAĂs entire broadcast team will do a great job for us.÷ Said Josh Getzler, the Staten Island Yankees chief operating officer.

Fans can follow the action worldwide via the Internet by logging onto siyanks.com or www.wsia.fm to hear all the exciting play-by-play. Preceding each game broadcast this season will be a 25-minute pregame show. Mike Cappello will continue handling play-by-play action. Mike will be joined in the broadcast booth each game by Tom Quinn. Nick Fabiani will join Mike and Tom for all home games during the 2001 season. The SI Yanks open their season on the road against the Lowell Spinners (Boston) on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:35 P.M. The pre-game show begins at 7:10 P.M.
